DC Food Gifts That Ship: Half-Smokes, Cupcakes and Paella

It serves 8-10. For a bigger cookout, the Original Half Smoke Sausages + Chili Sauce box ($109.95) has 16 half-smokes and 2 pints of chili sauce, serving 14-16.

José Andrés, whose restaurants include Jaleo, ships a Chicken Paella Valenciana for 2-3 ($129.95) through Goldbelly. It comes with a 15-inch paella pan, a bag of Valencian rice and the prepared paella base with chicken, green beans, artichokes, white beans and saffron.

Crab Cake Cafe, a family-owned restaurant in Oxon Hill, Md., ships Traditional Maryland Crab Cakes in a 4 pack ($104.95): four 4.5 oz uncooked jumbo lump crab cakes with tartar and cocktail sauce. They ship fresh, never frozen, and are best cooked within 2 days.

Georgetown Cupcake ships a Happy Holidays Cupcake Dozen ($75.95) with flavors such as Chocolate Egg Nog, Gingerbread, White Chocolate Peppermint and Rudolph Red Velvet; the page notes flavors may be substituted. The Classic Cupcake Dozen ($75.95) is three each of Chocolate & Vanilla, Chocolate Squared, Red Velvet and Vanilla Squared.
